About Pink Pumpkin

Pink Pumpkin is hosting their 3rd annual walk/run downtown Escanaba on Oct. 3, 2015. Pink Pumpkin is a fun event focusing on Breast Cancer awareness. This proceeds from the day will be donated to the Delta County Cancer Alliance and Northwoods AirLifeline (NWALL). Starting at Ludington Park, there will be  1 mile, 2 mile, and 5k routes. After the walk  there will be a 50/50 raffle and lots of great bucket raffles. There will be a hot dog lunch offering as well as a bake sale early that afternoon.

Most of us have been affected by Cancer in some way.  At this event you will be able to purchase a “Pink Pumpkin” in honor of someone who has been affected by Breast Cancer. The names of our loved ones will be written on the pumpkins and will be placed on the route. Everyone who has purchased a pumpkin will be able to take it home at the end of the race. Show your support and register today to be a part of this wonderful event and make a difference!

So Inspirational! We need to continue to raise awareness and support! Too many women have been taken from their children due to breast cancer. Will be there or send a donation! depends on son’s football. I lost my sister-in-law 3 years ago to breast cancer and she left behind two children and a husband. I will walk to honor Renee!
